Mission Statement
Swords Honor: Another Era strives to survive and flourish in light of the fact that there are many other Fantasy Roleplaying Games on the internet. We have a small community, but in a way, we like it that way. Like "Cheers" SH:AE is a place where everybody knows your name. Swords Honor is about the users; the people come onto the website and roleplay post after post, day after day, week after week and year after year. The users have creative license with our setting and we reinforce a "Do what you want to do!" not "Do what we say you can do!" Though we try our best to create rules and an environment that ensures the quality of our setting, the broadness of the users' ability to create new aspects in that setting and to ensure everyone is in a fair and just environment when those rare 'disturbances' occur.
What it all comes back to, however, is the user. We don't exist with them, and we won't continue to survive without them.
History
Swords Honor: Another Era has been around since 2005, and is the second Play by Post incarnation of the Swords Honor line that has been around for 8 years (We Celebrate the Anniversary every February 1st). The website, in both incarnations, has been founded by Sami Dibb. Though you may not see him every day, the website has been left in the capable and dedicated hands of the Staff. Get to know them, they are (for the most part) friendly.
What do I need to know?
That's simple, well, not really because what you need to know is a list that never really gets any shorter, but here are some good places to start anyway.
Make sure you give each one of those pages a thorough view, and don't forget Rule AlphaOmega. (When you find it, you'll know).
The SH:AE Project
The Swords Honor: Another Era project is never finished! There is always a new piece of content that can be added to the Canon of the Setting and there is always room for improvement. Our work here at SH:AE is never done! And we need your help to fill out as much of our website as possible. If you're unsure about something mosey on over to the Questions Forum and ask! If you want to add something completely new to the Setting we ask that you submit it in the Contribution Forum to have it approved in the Canon by our Staff Members.
What can I do now?
Stubs: Find 'em, and expand 'em! Additionally Projects are a good place to mosey in and expand on content.
